Best of Fashion Week Paris Summer 2013 – Women’s Wear Part Two

It’s Fashion Week Paris and here we go with our second best of women’s wear - alphabetically, as usual…

I don’t know why but to me her inspiration seems to have had something to do with Game Of Thrones: Ann Demeulemeester consequently worked with only a little more than black and white but impressed the audience once more with translating historic patterns into highly modern clothing. If the Night’s Watch allowed women and would recruit until today, they would surely ask Ann Demeulemeester for a sponsorship. Long slitted sleeves and leather bodices clearly come from a medieval influence but the silhouettes and outfits of Ann Demeulemeester are clearly for tomorrow:

With the usual leather for every one, Barbara Bui reliably introduced us a cool, slightly edgy and rock’n'roll collection that seems to be just perfect for each Scorpio’s closet. Now, where can I place my order, please?

Less playful than the last seasons but still with many super-colourful admirers in the audience: Lanvin brought back the early Nineties with asymmetric bodies and strong shoulders but it wouldn’t be Lanvin if there wasn’t some twist in the end… Go ahead and find it below! :-)

Nina Ricci really surprised me with wonderfully draped but modern silhouettes with sexy slits and loungy layering. So please forget all your prejudices about Nina Ricci selling perfume only and let her surprise you, too:
