Here is part two of our best of the Summer 2013 men’s wear of the Fashion Week New York - again in alphabetical order…
Officially launched in June 2008 for Spring 2009, Richard Chai launched his eponymous men’s wear collection with a presentation during Paris Fashion Week. As with his women’s wear, Chai takes an architectural approach with his men’s wear. Design signatures such as arced seams, intriguing fabric treatments and eclectic color palettes lend a distinctly modern flair while keeping in tune with the classic heritage of old world tailoring and craftsmanship.
As his idol Hardy Amies once said, “A man should look as if he had bought his clothes with intelligence, put them on with care, and then forgotten all about them.” – Well, Todd Snyder knows how to put these wise words into action!
Last but actually one of my favourites from this season’s Fashion Week New York: VLOV, a leading lifestyle apparel designer brand based in China. Who’d've thought?
