Best of Fashion Week New York – Men’s Wear Part One

One weekend to catch our breath and travel to London… But before we focus on the United Kingdom, let me summarize my personal best of the Summer 2013 men’s wear of the Fashion Week New York - again in alphabetical order…

J.Crew debuted in 1983 with the mailing of its first catalog. Six years later, the company opened a flagship store at New York’s South Street Seaport. Today, the business includes retail and outlet stores nationwide and an ever-growing online and catalog business. Still, J.Crew did not really blew me off with their women’s wear but their men’s wear is a totally different thing: fresh and colourful, yet mature and classic.

Lacoste, of course…

Marlon, Marlon, who? Marlon Gobel has accumulated 8 years in the fashion world, and years of art & design study. His excitement for fashion is contagious and his creativity is addictive. His ability to see style and glamor in anything is inspiring. Marlon Gobel has positioned himself in New York City to become a huge force in the future of men’s fashion. And he is on a good way, I think…
