Here comes the second part of our best of women’s wear from Fashion Week Milan for Summer 2013 – again in alphabetical order, to be fair…

Gucci‘s current winter collection is quite a big bang. But Frida Giannini is sane enough not to try to outrange her last works in drama, colour clashes and fur. Her new weapon is simplicity. Some might feel puzzled when a glamourous giant like Gucci serves rather pure and straight designs. But where would we go if things would always remain the same?

But let’s go back to a classic Italian fashion phenomenon! At Just Cavalli it was “Just WOW”… There are things in this world with colours and animal patterns that only Roberto Cavalli can do. Now, where can I place my pre-order please??

Versus used to be the young Versace line that was struggling with being noticed as a serious and independent design line. But since Donatella Versace and Christopher Kane became the creative directors, it’s all different: Suddenly Versus has a live singing Gossip’s Beth Ditto at the finale and guests cheering for more once the show is over. Somehow the ultimate Versus colour seems to remain hot pink… Well done!
