Best of Fashion Week Milan – Women’s Wear Part Three

Here comes the third part of our best of women’s wear from Fashion Week Milan for Summer 2013 – again in alphabetical order, to be fair…

Oh Bottega… Some say, when buying Bottega Veneta, you have finally grown up and made some money. The “Venetian atelier” (“Bottega Veneta” translated) started to produce artisanal leather goods in 1966. The company’s artisans developed a leather-weaving technique, called “intrecciato”, that remains a signature of the brand and a huge “WANT” for all grown-up fashionistas worldwide.

Fendi surprised me with a bit more than just the expected classics: it suddenly became graphic, artistic and linear on their runway. It took a while to settle but now I love it.

A big surprise to me: Genny. I never really had this designer on the map but his great sense for colours and female silhouettes that even allow the customers to wear these fashionable pieces at the office. Very up-to-date. I will definitely keep an eye on Genny from now on…!
