Marcel Ostertag & Michael Sontag @ Fashion Week Berlin Summer 2013
Wow! So far – so GOOD! Let’s see what today has to offer… It’s “-TAG”-Day! Marcel Ostertag who was his own favourite model (yes – strolling over the catwalk in a scarlet red gown!) presented a candy store of flowing dresses in shades of apricot, black, white and red, red, red. The problem: most of the audience was so focus on “the male model in womens’ clothing” (yes – some didn’t recognize that it was Marcel Ostertag himself). A pity for the presentation of the actual collection and still: What a show!
Then Michael Sontag - the king of clear lines, cuts and featherweight fabrics! I do understand why VOGUE Germany is so in ove with him – I am, too! NO one can make beige look SO good… Favourite looks: the voluminous skirts and dresses. I had no chance to find out more about his collaboration with one of Germanys biggest shoe stores Goertz though. The joint collection entitled “Goertz designed by Michael Sontag” is supposed to be presented during during this fashion week and is planned to hit the stores in for summer 2013. ”My collections progress through the cuts. It was very exciting to apply this to shoes that have to be wearable. Goertz gave me the chance to implement all of the challenges in an entire collection,” he stated towards the Sportswear International. Michael Sontag AND shoes… OMG!

And in the end, it’s the public Yes We Do event at the Watergate Club, Falckensteinstr. 49. Many rumours about this one – only one statement so far: “YES, WE DO! combines lifestyle and fun with meaning and commitment. For trend-setters, for beauty, for fashion, for you, for everyone. Get ready for an unforgettable and glamorous night!” (by Fashion Week Berlin) Well, I am ready…!
