That legendary old market place where in 1912 the Oreo was invented (thaaaaaank you!!!!) and today designer sample sales from Helmut Lang, Rag & Bone or Edun (yes, from Ali Hewson, the wife of U2′s Bono) string together with the best bakeries – including Amy’s Bread, of course. Stroll through the hall of fame and find Anthropologie and Rag & Bone right next to fantastic cupcake bakeries, snack bars, restaurants and coffee shops. The sushi and lobster rolls at The Lobster Place are rumored to be the city’s best.
