The Olympians in Vogue / US Vogue
Have you got already the latest US Vogue?!? That amazing Olympic issue? Oh, that is such a great teaser right before London 2012! These Olympic games will be so full of fashion: Giorgio Armani for Italy, Stella McCartney for England, Ralph Lauren for the USA… But what really took my breath away were the treasures from the archive that you can check out online: from swimming legend Michael Phelps to tennis player gods Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal. All photographed by the wonderful Annie Leibovitz. Why don’t all international Vogues cheer for their country’s athletes like this? I know they say “sport is for crazies – you’ll end up pushing daisies” but it looks just SO gorgeous…
