Freitag – out of the bag @ Museum fuer Gestaltung / Zurich
In Europe there is no way escaping Freitag! The two guys from Zurich who used to be annoyed by the trucks passing their window and decided to make something good out of them: the Freitag bags that are mainly made of old truck tarpaulin. The perfect urban bag was born: unique in each piece, water-repellent, responsible. They started producing in their hometown Zurich – and produce there until today. By now the brand is far more than just a brilliant recycling idea: they even have their Reference line to target the timeless and sophisticated!
Now it was more than due for Zurich to exhibit this success story: since 4 April you can get an insight at “Freitag – out of the bag” in the Museum fuer Gestaltung. Click here to sneak peak the opening and the making of.
Find the Museum fuer Gestaltung in Ausstellungsstrasse 60, Zurich. The exhibition ends on 29 July 2012.
