If you have ever digged deep in the punk and rock scene of Hamburg, you might have heard the name already. If you are Annie Lennox or Sting, you have already bought his jewelry and his talents are no news for you. And if you like the Dandy chic of Herr von Eden you might like to know that he designs their jewelry as well. It is Jonathan Johnson.

Famous for his unconventional but very detailed work Jonathan Johnson still takes his time for every piece. It might take him up to 150 hours of work to finish one brooch. But to him it is the quality and the crafts that count. Very admirable in a world stuffed with cheap fashion jewelry made in China… Among his fans you will find – besides Annie Lennox and Sting - German punk legends Die Aerzte, bubbly multi-cultural allstar M.I.A., German actor and writer Rocco Shamoni and who knows? I suppose next in line should be Lady Gaga for the most wanted style of the current collection: the Scheisse necklace (see below) – a perfect match to her song.
