Yohji Yamamoto at the V&A / London
From 12 March 2011 there will be one more reason to go to London: The Victoria and Albert Museum will show us a selection of the works of one of the most influential and inspiring designers of the last decades… Yohji Yamamoto is a true visionary. He has pushed boundaries not only in silhouettes but also in textures and patterns. Yamamoto is always good for a new approach to our usual ways to dress so I guess it is just as worthy to have a closer look… The V&A shows over 80 women’s and menswear pieces to give the visitors an insight into his work so far.
The exhibition will be open from 12 March to 10 July 2011. Check out http://www.vam.ac.uk for ticket reservation and more detailed information. If you cannot wait until the 12 March you can get some calming treats at the V&A shop: http://www.vandashop.com/section.php?xSec=441.
