The Red Hills / Egypt
The Red Sea is supposed to be named after the Red Hills in Egypt. A photo can rarely catch that colour but when you pass those hills you will sea all shades of red. Sometimes it feels almost like Colorado but with rougher forms and a lot more heat… I found it most grounding and impressing when traveling towards the Nile. After hours of red stone and desert you find yourself in the middle of a green paradise…
